Nurturing Hope Through Trees: 412 Seedlings Planted in Marilog

A total of 412 native and fruit-bearing trees were successfully planted on January 29, 2026, at the Obu-Manuvu Ancestral Domain in Sitio Nam Nam, Marilog District, Davao City. The seedlings included white lauan, narra, durian, avocado, rambutan, calamansi, langka, mangosteen, and pomelo.

This meaningful activity was made possible through the generous support of Lunaw-Dabaw President Mr. Lito Palao, Tolets Peak, and San Miguel Brewery-Davao, with additional seedlings sourced from the EGIP Foundation Nursery.

The tree planting activity was actively participated in by the Obu-Manuvu community of Sitio Nam Nam, Barangay Marilog, the EGIP Foundation team, and volunteer from Mapúa University.

Together, we continue to nurture hope by nurturing trees. 🌳
