Empowering communities and the environment through key initiatives, including the presentation of projects, reforestation efforts, and the donation of 3,000 agroforestry seedlings to Obu-manuvu Indigenous Cultural Communities. Major milestones included the signing of a 10-year Memorandum of Agreement for a partnership focused on environmental protection, sustainable reforestation, and livelihood development.

Highlights also featured the ceremonial signing of the Mindanao Tree Planting Program for our Climate and Communities (MinTress) project, a forum on rehabilitation, restoration, and community impact, as well as the Davao Horse Club’s tree planting event.
Other activities included the visit of the Mutya ng Davao 2024 candidates for tree planting at Mt. Karilongan, the EGIPF team trek, the deputation of Sitio Sicao forest guards, exploration of permaculture at Tuminugan Farm, internship facilitation from three universities, a trail run with tree planting, and biodiversity monitoring and foot-patrolling training for forest guards.
