Benito, a biologist, holds a degree from Holy Cross College of Calinan and is currently pursuing a Master’s in Biology at Ateneo de Davao University. His interests lie in ornithology and conservation biology.
With experience as a college instructor and NSTP coordinator, he advocates for the conservation of the Makabol-Alikoson Forest and Watershed in Davao City. Pingoy also serves as a wildlife consultant at Malagos Garden Resort and is the President of Big Year Davao, Inc., a wild bird conservation organization.
