WHAT WE DO

Uniting for a Sustainable Future

This reflects our commitment to creating lasting positive change for both communities and the environment. Through meaningful collaboration and dedicated efforts, we strive to protect indigenous heritage, restore ecosystems, and promote sustainability.

Our approach is rooted in fostering resilience, advocating for rights, and ensuring the well-being of both people and nature. Here are our key objectives:

SUPPORT

To support tribal communities in protecting their Ancestral Domains in terms of preservation of their tribal culture and rights and in terms of health and education through engaging third parties.

EMPOWERMENT

To empower communities in our program or project areas to become guardians to preserve the wealth of their ecosystem including reforesting and rehabilitating denuded parts of their land.

CONSERVATION

To support the conservation of the environment by protecting the biosphere including all life forms that have been created over millions of years of evolution.

Measurable Impact, Lasting Change

Our commitment to conservation and community empowerment is reflected in our achievements

Forest Protection

The primary objective of this component is to promote environmental protection and enhance biodiversity conservation by integrating scientific methodologies with traditional ecological knowledge. This approach focuses on the continuous monitoring and safeguarding of wildlife species and their habitats that are of economic, environmental, and cultural significance.

Biodiversity

This component facilitates regular monitoring and foot patrols conducted by trained, assigned, and accredited forest guards to ensure the protection of forests and their wildlife. It also empowers forest guards to uphold and enforce their traditional laws and practices, while continuing efforts to integrate these indigenous systems into mainstream environmental policies and legal frameworks.

Community Development

Support for community development serves as the foundation’s direct response to the interconnected challenges of rural poverty and forest degradation. By providing sustainable livelihood opportunities and sources of income, this initiative helps beneficiary communities meet their daily needs. In turn, it empowers them to take active roles in protecting their ancestral forests and strengthening the resilience of their local environments.

Food Security

The foundation recognizes that alleviating poverty and ensuring food security for communities living in or near natural habitats is essential. Addressing these basic needs helps reduce the pressure on forest resources and prevents further environmental degradation caused by poverty-driven exploitation.

One tree can absorb up to 22 kg of carbon dioxide every year, provide oxygen for two people, and create a habitat for hundreds of species.

But despite their immense value, the world is losing over 10 million hectares of forest every year—an area roughly the size of Iceland.

Planting a single tree can be a powerful act of hope. It’s more than just greenery. It’s food, shelter, clean air, and climate protection.
